The process of buying a home is one of the biggest investments you will make in a lifetime. For my husband and me, the process was a bit scary because we considered ourselves to be real estate novices. Diane took valuable time to explain the entire process - beginning to end - to us during our first meeting. That first meeting was a huge relief, not only because she took the time to walk us through what to expect, but because every single thing she said was 100% accurate. We were fully prepared and at the time, we didn't know it, but as the weeks progressed we soon came to learn and appreciate Diane's expertise even more than we could have ever imagined. Diane's attention to detail is unmatched. She was responsive throughout the entire process and worked so very hard to make sure we were comfortable and informed as we made offers and eventually closed on our dream home. Even once we closed, Diane had our best interests in mind. She made sure that we knew what to do to be added to the trash route and update voter registration, for example. It's these little things, this attention to detail that we experienced working with Diane throughout the process and ultimately what we attribute to being settled in our community so quickly. You know you've worked with the best when you mention "our realtor told us to do that" and the immediate response time and time again is - "you had a great realtor!" We did indeed and we can't recommend her services enough!

Diane was fantastic. Due to my wife's accessibility needs our options were more limited. She always went the extra mile, whether it was bringing measuring tape to see if the wheelchair would fit through doorways to brainstorming workarounds to any issues we foresaw. Diane was incredibly responsive and then when it came time to sell we received two bids just above ask. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We were selling my late Mothers-in-Law home and don't live in the state. Not only did Diane quickly put the home on the market, but her strategy also brought about one half dozen offers within the first week the house was on the market. Following her advice, we ended up selling the house for a price far in excess of what we believed to be its market value. We interviewed a number of competing agents, it was clear to us that she had the best understanding of the market and was the most creative individual we had met. Without our having to ask, Diane helped us to manage the house and resolve a number of problems, saving us the need to drive from out of state. She even volunteered to pack up a number of small items left in the house on the day of closing and ship them to us. One evening she decided to go out of her way ad drive by the house to check on it. She called to let us know that one of the lights we had been leaving on was not functioning. She asked if we wanted her to go into the house and check on the problem. Diane went back to the house and bought a new light bulb to replace the one that had burned out. To say she went beyond the usual role of a real estate salesperson is a major understatement. In addition, as I have mentioned, she was able to obtain an excellent signed in under ten days. Without any reservation, if I ever have a need for a real estate salesperson in her sales area she will be my agent.

Diane Stone was simply outstanding throughout our entire 1st time home buying process. Diane was always available for us, spoke directly with the bank on several occasions in an effort to expedite things when we weren't getting the answers from the bank we needed, and to everything in between. We didn’t feel rushed, nor were her opinions about each home we viewed anything less than 100% sincere. We found Diane to know the area very well, to know the inventory available, she researched the back story on properties which was very helpful, and she kept up with new inventory that came onto the market that might interest us. Her thorough research on a comparative study of all nearby towns we were looking at came so handily in decision making. When we found the right home for our family, Diane helped us close the deal, negotiate favorable terms, and was there to assist us until we had the keys in our hand!
